We stayed at a hotel the night we arrived in Kansas City. Our group was so hungry after the long plane ride so we ordered room service.

Zach got chicken fingers; Greg had apple crumble and ice cream; Brent had ribs & fries; Brooke ordered shrimp; Brian and Elise had a sandwich; Cheryl ordered a fruit plate. The kids get ready to "pounce" on the food. Brian and Elise shared a club sandwich and fries.

We stopped by Columbia on our way from Kansas City and met the family at Shakespeare's Pizza. The kids had to go to the store "Cool Stuff." Throughout our stay in Moberly, we saw the "boys" playing some computer game against each other. I've posted two pictures of the group in the midst of "battle."

Everyone was putting hats on so we put a basketball hat on Carson. We couldn't resist putting the boa on Carson (he doesn't look too upset). Brent, Zach, and Matt on laptops playing the others in the den. Mike, Scott, and Brian go to battle against Brent, Zach, and Matt.

One of the first things we did was set up Kavorka. Cheryl thought it would be a good idea to PAINT the circles on the grass instead of using string. Scott and Brent took on the project. We also bought our fireworks and set off a cool bonfire!

Scott paints the circles. Brent fixes the "K." Nice job! Jen, Jackson, Brooke, and Ali get ready to play the first round. Brent put the work glove on the stake in honor of Grandpa Plewe.

Scott stands next to the "granddaddy" of all firework packages. Brian, Elise, and Mike help pick out some fireworks. Debra figures out how much we were going to pay. Elise, Brian, and Mike in the firework warehouse. Brad drops off a big pile of pallets for us to burn. This was our largest bonfire ever.

Here's a movie showing the lighting of the bon fire.

Zach went with our family to church. Here is Zach, Brent, and Andrea in front of the Missionary Pictures in the foyer. I've also included a close-up of the Missionary Picture Board in Moberly.

Zach, Brent, and Andrea at church. You can see Greg, Brad, Scott, and Matt in the group.

Pam and Jenny did some Fourth of July hair on the kids. I didn't take many pictures of fireworks but did get a few at the park.

Jenny puts the finishing touches on Allie's hair. Brooke and Allie from the FRONT view. Brooke and Allie from the BACK view. Jake poses with all the kids after getting their hair decorated for the fourth.

Brian, Elise, and Mike take a canoe ride in the lake before the fireworks. Brooke and Allie sit in a paddle boat. Every year we get "hit" with fallout from the fireworks. Here's some of the stuff that pelted us this year.

Connie made a fabulous dinner for the group. After dinner we put up the HUGE movie screen Brad and Mom made.

Brooke and Allie helped Connie with some final touches. The guys get the poles out to see the big screen up. It's almost up!

Very cool! The kids watched the "Sponge Bob Movie" when it got dark.

The "kids" rode the zip line while waiting to eat. Here are some movies:

Cheryl took Brian, Brent, Elise, and Zach to Six Flags and Morton's Steakhouse.

Zach, Brent, Elise, and Brian get ready to ride "Batman." Looks like Brent and Zach are READY to go!

Brent had to get his pic taken with G-Money...The fastest tablesetter EVER! Brian wanted us to take a picture of his filet mignon (it was the best he ever had). Our waitress showing us the dessert tray. Elise, Brian, and Brent get the molten chocolate cake; Zach got cheesecake.

The group went bowling at the local bowling alley.

Hannah has fun bowling for the first time. Matt and Jen wait their turn. Ben is happy with Jana's bowling. Matt wanted to see his "form." Ben watches his dad bowl. Connie and Allie :-) Jake and Jackson.

We had to go to China Garden one more time before heading to the airport.

Part of our group eating some yummy Chinese food. The rest of us :-) Cheryl surprised the workers cleaning green beans (which were soooo good!).
