Diving in Cozumel

July 20-24, 2005

 

Greg, Brian, Brent, and Jake headed to Cozumel, Mexico just three days after Hurricane Emily devastated parts of Cozumel and Cancun. The hotel they had originally intended on staying in was damaged by the storm so they had to get a new hotel. The problem they faced is that people were STILL being moved around from damaged hotels. They somehow lucked out and got into the Cozumel Palace. Brian formatted a movie of their dive. Click here to watch it!

The guys were sad when they were turned away from staying at Villa Dolores.

After begging several times the day they arrived, the guys finally got rooms at the Cozumel Palace.

Brent enjoyed a dip in the IN ROOM Jacuzzi tub. The water was a little yellow due to the hurricane.

Jake and Brent debated with some Brazillians whether it was their countrymen who invented the airplane or the American Wright Brothers :-)
