Curtis Beach and Daniel Gooris...Two of New Mexico's elite track and field athletes.	Brent and Daniel WISHFUL that Curtis would transfer to Cibola :-)	Happy Birthday Brent! Good luck in your race tonight!

Okay...So Two of Brent's friends do REALLY well in Track and Field. Curtis Beach won the decathlon out of 23 elite athletes from states throughout the southwest. Daniel also did well placing third. Here are three articles about their journey. Brent still has his 4x4 relay tonight (June 2...his birthday) at 9:30 PM. Daniel will pole vault. Curtis is also in the 4x4 relay on a New Mexico team.

One funny note...Brent actually beat Curtis in the high jump when he was a freshman. We joked that Brent would beat him in French toast eating too since he can no longer beat him in track  :-)
