Garlic Cheese Bread
1 loaf of French bread
1 stick butter (or margarine)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. shredded provolone cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or any other cheese can be substituted)
Cut bread on the bias into slices. Melt butter and garlic. Dip bread into melted garlic butter. Sprinkle generously with cheese. Bake at 375° until heated through (and until cheese is melted).
